Seoul hotel price calendar: which nights are cheap, which are expensive (4 Oct 2026 – 1 Jan 2027)

From the real rates of 80 popular hotels in Seoul, pulled 3 Oct 2026: of the 90 nights ahead, 40 are cheaper than usual, 16 are normal and 34 are pricier than usual. The cheapest 3-night window is Tue 1 Dec 2026 – Fri 4 Dec 2026 (−29% on average); the single most expensive night is Sun 4 Oct 2026 (+71%); the cheapest is Sun 29 Nov 2026 (−30%).

This page is rooozt's own price index for Seoul, rebuilt every week from a fixed set of the city's 80 most-reviewed hotels. Every night is priced with the same occupancy (2 adults, 1 room) and compared with the median of all 90 nights of the same city — so "cheap" here means cheaper than Seoul's own coming quarter, never cheaper than another city or another website. Use it to pick dates; use the search button to see live prices for them.

How this index is calculated

rooozt keeps a fixed "universe" of Seoul's 80 most-reviewed hotels (review score ≥ 7, ≥ 100 reviews) and, through its own feed access, asks for every one of them for every night of the next 90 — 2 adults, 1 room, Thai baht, before taxes — a few nights at a time, so the whole set refreshes about weekly. For each night it stores only the median rate across those hotels, then divides by the median of all nights: that ratio is the number shown as a percentage. Bands: ฿ ≤ −5%, ฿฿฿ ≥ +5%. Newest reading in this build: 3 Oct 2026; oldest: 3 Oct 2026. No individual hotel's rate is stored or shown.

What this page is not

It is not a price list, not a forecast and not a guarantee: rates change by the hour, and a night marked ฿ can still be expensive at a specific hotel. It compares Seoul with itself only — it says nothing about whether Seoul is a cheap destination. Nights with fewer than 20 readings are left blank rather than guessed. On nights where many of the 80 hotels are already sold out, the median comes only from the rooms still open — usually the dearer ones — so a very high figure (shown with its hotel count, e.g. 47/80) means "pricier AND the cheap rooms are gone", not a pure price rise. ›Where do these numbers come from, and how often are they updated?

From rooozt's own feed access: the same 80 popular Seoul hotels are priced for every night of the next 90 with the same occupancy, a few nights per pass, so the set refreshes about once a week. Each night's figure is its median rate divided by the median of all nights — a ratio, not a price. This page was built from the pull of 3 Oct 2026; the search button shows live prices.
